Summer report
I cannot believe that we are now in October and the crazy summer is over.
Thank you so much to all the wonderful people who came to my stand, or the Buggie at the miriad of shows this summer. I met lots of new people and also many people who I see each year at shows like the Turriff Show, Speyfest, Black Isle, etc. and of course each month at at the Farmer's Market in Macduff.
I am taking 2 weeks without events and trying to re-charge my batteries for the onslaught of the pre Christmas season, and develop new designs for the table!
Beads have done really well this year, and I am delighted with the gradual building of the Buggie's business... thank you again to all my loyal bead customers.
Shows for Fall and Winter
I have just updated the Show page for the Fall and Winter events. These shows include the annual events at Delgatie Castle, Christmas Cracker at Thainstone, Haddo House, Elgin Library. This year there will be no Drum Castle Holly Fest, but I am assured that it will be back with a bang in 2010. The Farmer's Market in Macduff will be on December 19th, with lots of fun things going on during the market, for children and adults.
Holm Mills Shopping Village, Inverness
I have been kindly invited by Holm Mills Shopping Village in Inverness to do a monthly demonstration of jewelry making, and display of my work, which has been lots of fun. The Buggie is becoming more and more popular on these days, and I have to say thank you to the staff at Holm Mills, and to the regular customers. October 17 and 18th are the next days there, and I will be there November 22. December is not decided on, but it will be subject to weather! Dates for 2010 will be announced when they have been organized.
New Workshop Schedule
This first year of workshops has been great. Thanks to all the brave people who attended them. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. I do know that everyone went home with an amazingly different piece of jewelry. which was the intention. Would love any feeback you would like to give.
The last workshop for this year was last Sunday, and there will be a rest from them until the first week in February. I know a lot of you have been asking about when they will start up again. The run up to Christmas is so hectic for everyone that I decided that leaving them until February would be the most sensible plan.
Due to requests from people who are not able to attend a full day workshop, there will be half day workshops also starting in February.
I look forward to the Fall and Winter shows, and meeting lots more people.
Also look out for the ad in the Knock News each month.
Liz
